I finished this quilt today and I am so excited!
I love it!

Cot quilt sized, fabrics from Ikea and Spotlight, simple design I saw at a shop, and adapted to suit.
Tried a new way to add a border, which I kind of like.

Much happier with how the Free Motion quilting is going, still made a shed load of mistakes but I am still happy with the finished product.

thanks for looking!

The quilt and the quilting are so beautiful! I am in love with your fabrics and again lamenting the lack of ikea in Colorado! Really vibrant quilt and the quilting seems to match one of the red fabrics!

Thanks so much!
Yes, I feel your pain, Ikea has lovely stuff.
Your right, I hadn't noticed but the quilting matches the hippo!
I gave this to my daughter this afternoon and she really likes it, so thats cool. Grin

Love the colors! Your free motion quilting looks great and gives me hope that with more practice, I can master the technique as well.

I really like the fabric you chose for the back!

thanks peoples!
this is my third attempt LimeRiot, I am sure you will be great.
the fabric for the back is the same print I did on the second quilt, just a differant colour way, from Spotlight, if you are in Australia. Grin
