Those Lion sheets are circa 1985 or 86.  I had them in my bedroom in grade school! 
I made matching curtains and a comforter from a second set of those sheets.  The pillow case had a great single lion's face on it.
I LOVE what you've done with them.   I wonder if my mom still has that set somewhere.....

That is awesome!  I'm disappointed I only found the one sheet from the set, because the set sounds pretty awesome. I hope your mom is like mine and kept everything from your childhood : )

I love vintage craft books, magazines and materials.  I try to incorporate something "old" into every craft project I do.  I have fun thinking of a new use for things like plastic bags, old jeans, and needlepoint kits I find at thrift stores.

Super cute PJ's my brothers had those sheets in their jungle inspired bedroom in the early 80's! They make great pJ's!
