I can never find patterns for clothes knit completely in the round. Yeeeeeeessss. <333

You NEED to know Elizabeth Zimmerman's books. She was the queen of circs. My fave is "Knitting Without Tears."

Realize that EZ's books are not 'pattern' books, they're more like how to do it, and give you a lesson in construction. Another one is Knitting from the Top by Barbara Walker. That explains how to do any type of pattern in the round and you're not limited to raglans or yoke sweaters, but can do set in sleeves as well. Custom Knits by Wendy Bernard has several patterns and also an explanation how to convert other patterns. The sweater workshop by Jacquline Fee has a few patterns and shows how to knit in the round using the EZ method.

Okay I know I'm joining in on this a bit late. But I've been wanting to knit this sweater for some time now. (Funny that I should finally decide to do it in the summer.) It seems a bit intimidating since I've never attempted to knit a sweater before. But I think I understand most of the instructions. I think I already have a color chosen and then I'll just have to buy the needles. But I was wondering if it would matter if I used 29" needles instead of 24"?

The neckline may be a bit snug to start on 29", but you can use Magic Loop or a single loop variation and still use the longer needle.
