This is my first challenge entry but hopefully not my last. I saw this sheet at the thrift store and thought it would make cute Pj's. When I got it home my daughter told me it was princess fabric so I decided to make her a summer outfit with it.

Here is the front:



The back:



A closer look at the back of the shirt:




I'm not sure what to tell you about it other than I made the pants by tracing out an existing pair that fit her well and the top is just kinda put together by trial and error (more error though).

That is an uber cute summer outfit!  She looks rather pleased with her new found princess attire!!! Great job.... so you had no pattern, right?  I love creating w/o patterns.

No I didn't use a pattern. I'm just learning to sew and for some reason anything I try to make using a pattern is unwearable.
I'm hoping to eventually be able to sew from a pattern but until then I'll keep cutting up thrift store sheets and donated fabrics while I learn!
