While out shopping recently, I fell in love with these earrings:


I'd like to make something similar, but I don't like the silver chain part.  The bottom part that the beads are handing from is strung jump rings.  Aren't they lovely!

I would say that you just neet to find some pearls, beads, charms, and crystals, and headpins.  Then place a bead on the headpin, and using pliers, make a loop and trim the headpin.  Then make a wire hanger of some kind to string the looped beads on.  To make the detail over top, take a piece of wire and string your beads on, making loops on either end, to put over the hanger loop.  Then you can finish it off to hang as you like if you don't like the chain.
