Sailor Moon bed skirt

  I've had this Sailor Moon bed skirt for a while now, I used some of it once to make my dd a shirt and I also made some patches to put on some t-shirts.  Well the rest of it went unused in my fabric stash waiting for inspiration, and it came as Craft Challenge 52 yay!! I give you Sailor Scout out of a bed skirt and a pink flat sheet.





  
The arm bands go are supposed to be attached to gloves but I don't have any.  I made those using the wide band at the top of the flat sheet, made 3 rows and filled them with polyfill.

 
The choker and the ribbon on the sailor collar were made using the the hem off of the sheet.  I just cut along the folded hem and sewed it on to the collar.


I cut a strip of pink and glued a gem as the tiara


The only thing not made out of the sheet or bed skirt was the shirt she was wearing. The boot covers were not fun so they look not so pretty.

Sailor Moon and Sailor Scouts

I have made sailor scout costumes before, but never with a bed skirt

some more pictures of the skirt and the collar before it was finished
along with a picture of the pink flat sheet. No before pics of the bed skirt
because I had already used some of it for something before.






I redid the bow for the finished costume


Found the sheet at goodwill and it matched perfect
