I want to be crafty forever!

A long time ago, I bought some paint to do my guest bathroom - well, I finally finished it!  I still think it needs a little craftiness added to the walls, but I haven't decided what yet.  Maybe my lovely, fellow crafters can suggest something!

Anyhoo....here's the before:
Boring...ugly...and a little creepy....

AFTER:
Give me a day and I'll transform the place!
Blue walls, yellow rugs...I kindof wish I was a little sick so it wouldn't seem so funny that I go in there a lot right now! Lol!

I did a faux finish on the walls with plastic WalMart bags.  I looked like a smurf by the time I was finished!  Cheesy

The room is so small, I couldn't get a good shot of the entire mirror collage I did on the wall.  Oh well.  But it really brightens up the room!

Now I have a towel rack! Woohoo!! and Elli has a little mirror at her height

The trim, doors and cabinet are white along with new knobs. It really is a new room!

I funk-ed up my faucet too Smiley The 'H' and 'C' were already missing out of the knobs, and it annoyed me entirely, so I popped in some cute fabrics and hot glued a flat glass marble in the top!  Now the faucet is cute and colored for easy distinguishing between hot and cold for my 3 year old!

My window treatment - I Mod-podged fabric to the window! It's such a small space, I didn't want to weigh it down with curtains and I don't want people lookin' in from the outside - so this was a cheap and crafty alternative! It will come off, but I have no idea how hard it will be to wash the glue off...I don't plan on doing it, so I'm not worrying about it Smiley  I love it so much, that I did it in my other bathroom windows!

Thanks for looking Smiley  I welcome comments and suggestions!

The blue color and the mirror collage work so beautifully together!!

And I'm going to have to use your mod-podge and fabric idea for our bathroom, the window is right where you stand in the shower, so there isn't room for a curtain there either, cause you'd be rubbing up on it while showering.

Anyway, perfect solution!! I would have never thought of it!! Thanks for posting  Grin
