I made these embroidered pillow cases about 6 years ago.  I made them for my boyfriend for our first Christmas.  They were the first thing I ever embroidered.  I'm just now getting around to taking pictures and de-lurking here.

I made them using the Sublime Stitching patterns, "Tattoo Your Towels" and "Spaced Out" transfers. I used back stitch and satin stitch.  These pillow cases probably took me several hours as this was my first attempt at embroidery.

*crossing my fingers that these pics show up*

Thanks for looking!

(I promise I'll try to take better pictures next time.  Any tips on photographing your embroidery?)

Those are spectacuar!  Especially that satin stitch, I can't believe it was your first attempt at embroidery.  Cheesy  As for taking pictures, if you have access to a scanner that tends to give you better quality.

Great job and it looks like they've really held up with washing over the years!
I have the best luck taking photos outside in natural light and with my camera set for closeup shots.  I'll have to try scanning sometime.

I can't believe this was your first go round! Amazing. Just amazing.  You have to continue working embroidery. You obviously have a knack for it.
