What a great idea for a challenge!  I just wish I'd seen it earlier so I'd had time to do more.
Anyway, I found this great saffron coloured double sheet at the Salvation army store and had just the pattern to use it with.  I changed it ever so slightly by making the bodice darts into pintucks and added a matching fabric for the collar and sleeve ties and covered buttons, (which were sooo fiddly)

I get so engrossed in the making that I forget to take in progress photos but here is the finished result.  I am pleased with how it turned out.

and cause my photographer likes to be credited, thanks to master Jamie, 8

I love the cut, the fabrics and how well you coordinated the collar fabric. Bet those buttons were fussy. Wink

I love your blouse. The color and design is awesome. I have some animal print cotton sheets that are twi wa going to make curtains but now I think I will make some summer tops. Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!
