Hi!

I made these pillows last weekend and it was the BEST fun!

I'm still very new to crochet so I was very nervous about it all. Which is silly because I think it turned out pretty well.

I used this amazing tutorial on You Go Girl. http://yougogirl.typepad.com/you_go_girl/2010/03/crochet-like-crazy.html

Seriously though, I love the effect of the crochet on the pillows that it's going to take all my strength to avoid doing it to all our pillows.

Also, does anyone know where I can find some more trim patterns? I'm looking at buying Crochet Adorned but I can't find a copy in town to look through before I buy it online (it's cheaper that way). Does anyone have a copy? Does it have trim patterns?

Of course, the pillows are blogged as well if you're interested.  Wink

I love those pillows! The white ones with baby blue trim gave me an idea for a baby gift! And I love the one on the bottom of the photo. The bright colors with the red trim! Very nice. Good Job!

Oh, so beautiful!

There are a couple of books I can recommend -
The Complete Book of Crochet Border Designs: Hundreds of Classic & Original Patterns
Around the Corner Crochet Borders: 150 Colorful, Creative Edging Designs with Charts and Instructions for Turning the Corner Perfectly Every Time

I got both of those, as well as Crochet Adorned thru my local library & their Inter-Library Loan Smiley
