Make Art - Not War

I have been challenging myself to work play in my journal with whatever I have on my art table. Rather than reaching in my pockets to buy more art materials I am all about recycling what is on hand.

This page was created with acrylic paints, opaque markers, and recycled scraps of security envelopes! Have you ever noticed how many different prints security envelopes come in when you rip open your mail? Why toss them when you can use them to make art, right?  Grin

This background page is ready to be written on when the mood strikes!

That is really cool!  I like the houses especially and the use of the security envelopes is nifty!

Aren't security envelopes fun?! I'm addicted to collecting them. I like how you combined several different ones on this journal page.

Addictive for sure! So silly to throw them away with all the different 'prints' available!! Grin
