I love it! T-shirt yarn? How big is it?

pixieval,  I recycled polyester knit work shirts (they keep changing uniforms) donated by coworkers.  Cut them into strips like we do with cotton t-shirt yarn and used Beth's Star Baby Blanket pattern.  The points measure about 18" from the center to the tip; a nice sized throw rug.  Thanks for the comments.

Its a great looking throw rug and I love that you used recycled materials. The star-shape in the red, white, and blue is so patriotic!

Love this rug!!   Do the ends curl up or does it lay pretty flat?

The rug laid on the floor outside my door for a week last year and it behaved as a rug should.  The soldier I sold it to gave it to his mother and I think she has it as a wall hanging.  I use another star rug like this in the bathroom and no problems (trip hazard).  Thanks for your interest.

I love this rug, I've just started making crochet rugs and I wondered how a star shaped one would look, now I know, it looks awesome!
