Blargh!
It is hard to do something that I did not anticipate.  If i said what it was, I'd be giving away too much to szuzu.
I'm baking Take II at this moment, so if all goes well, I'll be mailing later today or tomorrow!

I agree Jill, that is what I like about swaps- they push me out of my comfort zone and force me to try something new- This swap had me sculpting a dragon something I never thought I would do bit I think it came out pretty good- My  partner received her yesterday and she is already in the gallery

Okay I have watched waaaaayyyyy too many YouTube videos about how to do what I want to do and read alot of the Polymer Clay board but the question is - can I do it? I have a second ______ to practice on so keep your fingers crossed.

And thanks for all the tips on this thread and the gallery thread about how to bake. I will use foil tents from now on!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been really really busy.  I've finally managed to finish the piece for JillHogan.  Just have to find my way to the post office now.  Grin

If it can go wrong it has with this swap. I made the first one and used clear clay instead of white and so I did it again bso it would be right. The next time it came out beautifully and I sprayed Krylon gloss sealer on it and of course sticky is the only word to describe it. LOL I tried to rebake it and then when that did not work tried acetone and that helped but I will be working on it some more. Needless to say I want it to be better than that so I will be attempting the project for a third time tonight. I am sooooo sorry sushipanda I am not flaking I promise. This has been a very surreal crafting experience I think Murphy is looking over my shoulder. Anyone have any thoughts on how to salvage the other piece.

I made Teag's project from start to finish today.  I wasn't looking at the clock but I think it took me about 3 hours to sit down and do it from beginning to end.  So hopefully I'll find a box and be able to mail it on Monday.   Cheesy

Should I take that personally?? JK.  Sorry it has been a frustrating go for you.  Interesting so many people (including me) have had so many redos with this challenge.  Poly is a fickle mistress it seems...
