I'm not sure if it's been done before, but but would anyone be interested in doing a swap where you send your partner a bunch of things that you don't know what to make with them, like scrap fabric, buttons, beads, yarn etc and have them craft something out of it and send it back? I know shipping might be a problem so maybe people can be paired up according to distance....

This could be cool, but I do more papercrafting/art than say sewing, knitting, or crotcheting.  Would it have to be limited in what is sent?

No absolutely not! We would just have to pair people up according to there abilities. So for example, someone has a lot of yarn and they aren't able to crochet.knit (me lol) than they could get paired with someone who can do that, and perhaps that person who can knit has a paper stash they don't know what to make with it and hopefully the partner receiving is creative enough to use it Cheesy
. But so far there isn't much interest, maybe after summer we can do something like this.

I really do like the idea of this! I'm imagining somebody sending me a weird sculpture made out of the random things I would send Cheesy
