so, i acquired a craftster shirt, and did what only a craftster fan would do: i cut it, changed some stuff, and sewed it back together. Smiley

took in the sides a bit (more fitted to curves), neckline was changed to envelope style (think: baby bodysuit) with a gray band.

I really like this.  Of course the shirt is adorable, but that neckline is great.  I bet it wasn't all that difficult either.  I think you did a great job making a plain t-shirt your own.  Cute!

thanks, guys!
i've made a few attempts at this neckline before. i'm still working out all the kinks. the main thing is having enough fabric towards the shoulders to lap over each other, and not make the shirt too short.
i loved the original, so i didn't want to do too much to take away from the image.

Great recon.  I love what you did with the neckline.  I may need to try it myself as I find the neck of unisex shirts is always too tight.

This looks great!!  I really love when t-shirt recons are wearable, especially for someone like me who is over 35.  So many recons are just too bare for my taste.

I would love to know how to do the envelope neck!
