Yep, it's my first go at sawing, finishing, and riveting metal! Right now, it's just a pendant kind of thing, but I'm guessing I'll eventually turn it into a necklace. It's about the height of a quarter and a dime next to each other, and it's made of copper and brass. Constructive crit is welcome, as this is my first go at anything like this and I'm sure I could use improvement!

And here's the back:

Yay for mythology!

Aww, thanks everybody! I'm about to start trying soldering, and am beyond nervous...I'm just imagining hours of cutting out and finishing my metal only to torch it into oblivion when I'm trying to solder! I hope the learning curve is kind to me  Tongue

That turned out FANTASTIC. My only pseudo-suggestion would be to maybe bevel the edges of the metal to give it a little more three-dimensionality. It totally doesn't NEED that though at all.

How is it going to be worn as a pendant? I don't see a bail so it makes me curious. Smiley I dunno BTW if you were planning to solder on this but I wouldn't recommend it, you'll ruin your patina (easy enough to put it back, just more work) and you'll have a small chance of popping those rivets which I'd hate to see happen =/
