I'm totally new to felting, and had a go at these........not perfect but each one I make gets better

OMG, incredibly adorable!!! I love the orange and pink one, the brown one is equally precious.

Can I ask how you formed the basic structure? I got a felting kit with some really great long stapled fibers to make animals with. I'm trying to figure out what to start with to get them going. I really want to do a set of sea creatures, but those won't need that long staple.
