It was more fun to break than to make!

Anyone know of any?  I would like to hook up with a regular get together sorta crowd, but I think everything cool is on the other side of the river.

Prove me wrong!

I work over on that side of town so a meetup would be good for me.

I realize this thread is old and dead, but it got me all excited for a minute.  I live in Tigard, close to SW PDX and Bvtn. and I'd love to find some more crafty friends & outings.  I know the 'burbs are so not hip & happenin, but there have to be some cool peeps out here!  Show yourselves!!

I haven't done much posting...mostly lurking.  I'm 32.  I have 2 little girls.  I love to sew and knit and make anything and everything.  I'm thinking about signing up for Wardrobe Refashion.  maybe.

Trying to get some life into this thread instead of posting a new one I guess. I just moved to Beaverton and looking for crafty things to do with some crafty people! ^_^ Please reply or PM me if there's meets around I don't know about!!

Crystal -

I'm glad you asked!  The most consistent group I know of is the PDX Knit Bloggers... Mainly knitters, spinners, and a couple of fiber dyers.... and then there's me - never knitting...

This group meets weekly, and without fail is always about a dozen women.  They meet on Wednesday nights at the Whole Foods market (on 190th and Cornell - Tanasbourne area).  Officially from 7-9pm, but it isn't unusual to see people start showing up earlier.

I will be there this Wednesday for certain...  Currently I am trying my skills at rug hooking, however I do like to try different things...

Anyone is welcome!

I to live near Beaverton, Aloha is pretty much where I'm at.  Would love for there to be meet ups on this side of town as well.  Planning on checking out that wedensday night thing sometime.
