Toasty toasty toasty - in more than one way!  Big heat wave in Seattle right now, no freakin' way am I cooking anything ... so have been having toast-n-peanut-butter for many a meal!  Grin

My favorite cracked-wheat-sourdough suddenly disappeared from my grocery store! The checkout gal said the company has completely re-made its labels and didn't bring my kind in the first shipment, I hope they didn't stop making it!

So instead I got this gorgeous loaf of a locally-baked really chewy-crust hearty white, it's SO GOOD.  I am just usually such a klutz when it comes to cutting loaves, I hardly ever get this stuff, but they had sliced versions this time! Woooo!  It holds up great as toast, stands up to jelly just fine, and makes a wonderful grilled cheese.  I may stick with this kind from now on!

I'm with you in the Seattle heatwave camelama over here in Sammamish.  Yikes, 50's last week and 90's these week is a heck of a swing.

Have you ladies read Thursday Next by Jasper Fforde?  It takes place in England in an alternate reality and the best part for toast fans, they've got a National Toast Council to manage all of the many toast topics.  "Strenght - Joy - Nutrition.  Failure to meet mandatory toast-eating requirements is an offense."

Toasty toast! Having some with Nutella....mmm...!!! Cheesy

I just bought some Nutella-type spread today for my toast. Smiley  I found a really good creamed honey that is local. It is sooooo good on  toast with a bit of butter.

It's not hot in England either. I would love to have a proper hot summer!
I love eggs on Toast. I will literally have eggs on toast every morning. My mum pointed out she knows when I'm home from uni because my Dad will get up to find I've eaten the last egg and the last of the bread! Wink

i cannot wait to get my partner!! I have made toast themed stuff before.. I even made this breakfast charm bracelet for a friend that had a tiny toast with a face made out of felt.. tiny is hard to work with, but fun.. I can even imagine a tote made in the shape of toast!! Can't wait to see what other ppl come up with too :-)
