So, this is my first time ever making something out of flat fabric. I usually am making t-shirt recons, so I was kind of excited when I saw the challenge for this month.

I found the pattern for this dress in a box of donated books at the library where i work. It wasn't in an envelop or anything so I'm not sure who to credit.  Undecided

I don't have any in progress picture. But here's the finished work.
(sorry for the bathroom mirror pics)

Both bedsheets were purchased at Walmart. The burgundy is a thick cotton top sheet, and the beige is a jersey knit top sheet. I just don't use top sheets. They get kicked off of the foot of the bed. Nice to have a use for them now.

C&C welcome. Good luck everyone.  Cheesy

Very nice!  I don't know how accurate the color is, but I really like it.  Nice tattoo as well.

This is so lovely and drapey. I like the contrasting belt. Smiley

it's a regular burgundy color. some of the pictures make it look different.

But thanks everyone! I wish I had had a different color of thread to sew it with, but I was so excited to start this project, I just used what I had on hand.

I love this! And I like the color you went with on the thread, even if it was just whatever you had on hand. It provides a nice contrast!

I was going to almost say exactly as misspollypants said, as the first thing I noticed was the contrasting thread. I love it, it looks like it is also very comfortable.
