here is what i sent attienichole in the "be awesome swap" -- she has received, so i am going to post the pictures i have!!

i did a set of stamps -- a tree (which she likes) and a yarn ball since she is a crocheter...i then used the stamps to create a "logo" for her etsy & craft fair business...i stamped the logo on a square notepad & then created some thank you notes, too...

i drew both items freehand.

this was my first stamp carving, and i was THRILLED with it!!

I sooo want to learn stamp carving, and seeing how beautiful your first attempt was... motivates me even more! Did you self teach yourself, or were you given a kit? Beautiful!

i received the speedball carving tool & some white carving "rubber" in a swap package and that is what i used...

maybe i should say this was not my first time carving -- we did linolium block prints in middle school (so 17-18 years ago)...
