I really like this. Didn't realize till I saw the tute that the black was waistband. (looked to be a belt) That is even better because you can play with the length a bit. added to my to sew list. ;-)

Yup! My waistband isn't very thick and the dress is a little bit short, so I wear it with leggings and black shorts.  But a thicker waistband would definitely make it longer.  Glad you liked it!
