I so want to post as I go, but I'm holding off, my idea will be a big thing, is it ok to send people to a blog for bits and pieces (stuff I can't upload onto here)?  is it even okay to have like 5 tutes in one for one giant project?

This will be my first challenge, if my idea is appropriate.  And this is at the perfect time.  I have a project I need to start and finish by August, so this will get me motivated.

My project is 3 part.  2 parts will have to be done with patterns I have yet to draw out, so I could do tutes for those.  The 3rd part I am doing by a McCalls pattern.  Is this OK?  It all goes together at the end, but I think the 2 parts I have to do myself could stand alone if I have to leave the piece made from the pattern out.

If your two parts could actually stand alone as a project on their own, I think it's totally okay to use! Smiley  Be sure to link to the McCalls pattern, but do not photograph/scan it for use here. Smiley

Good questions!

As long as your post meets the minimum requirements for the steps/pictures, the video can be extra fabulousness!  I personally really appreciate when people include videos for some of the tricky steps!

If all five tutorials build into your final project, it's totally okay!  I'm entirely intrigued to see what you've been creating over there...hmm! Cheesy

You should post the entire tutorial in your entry post.  If you are using a purchased pattern or pattern somehow owned by someone else, you would need to link to those, though.  If it's a tutorial and/or pattern you've created, be sure to include it in your post! Smiley
