Mini Art Quilt Swap 3 (Sign-ups CLOSED, Sendouts extended to Sept 14)

Oh my gosh - I love this swap, but I don't know if it would be wise of me to join this round. I just moved to a new city, got no job, got no place of my own, but I've got my sewing machine and my stash readily available. I went fabric shopping yesterday, too, so I will think about joining this round and I probably will.

After thought:

I've been thinking about it and I will not be joining this round. If you were to check out my UFO List, you would understand why. I just gotta get focused on what I want to get done that I've already started instead of adding yet another (albeit very fun) project. If I have things under control when Round 4 happens, I will definitely sign up.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone makes, though!

 I am trying to avoid going out and weeding my garden my granddaughter talked me into growing..>GAH by hand a 40X20 plot...darn it WHY DID I NOT USE Pereen to start with LOL...I hate chemicals but they sure sound good right now LOL....I just want to quilt

Ooh, thinking about this.  I've never done a proper quilt before, much less an art quilt, but this sounds cool.  (And I know how to bind!  There are some great youtube videos for those who haven't done it before!)

Hmm, I'll have to contemplate and see where I am with my other swaps in a week or so.

i am recovering.  i used to do 3-5 swaps at a time and now i do at most 2 a year.  i never want to quit, just not be obsessed with it.

ROTFL...Shhhhh keep that to yourself the thought might rub off and if DH is over my shoulder he might think I need to do that too....ROTFL...I am with you I love this and the OWS and will have a few others but am a lot choosier what I get into now in my older age and house size
