The idea for this nes controller dress popped into my mind last night and I couldn't sleep until it became reality! The whole thing is made of super comfortable cotton jersey. Assembling it only took a couple of hours, it was getting everything proportioned and cutting the parts (particularly the letters) that took the most time. But I have to say that I'm ridiculously pleased with how this turned out!! =D

I also finally made a tetris dress, which I also love. =] Black interlock jersey, covered in about 80 colorful squares and trimmed in grey.

And finally, I ended up making a classier version of my tetris dress for a lovely lady's rehersal dinner. This one is black cotton and was a little more structured than the things I usually make, but it turned out well and she loved it.

Brainstorming for more fabulously nerdy ideas...
