Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been very present lately... since my computer crashed, it's been uber slow. It takes forever to just keep up with all the threads, never mind posting replies I'm there though, reading each and every post. Should be able to look into making another claim over the weekend - when I have time to wait for pages to load

Precisely what I was thinking....

I was very lucky and received three birthday gifts!

The first came from mom2em for baby stuff. I had been feeling kind of mopey for a few days, but getting a gift in the mail made me happy!

A lovely color green onsie, a set of flannel cloths with a pirate-y theme, and a hooded towel, which my husband proceeded to put on his head and declare himself a superhero.

The second gift, I had no idea was coming and arrived on my birthday! It is a really cute pixie baby hat. It is really quite adorable, I don't think my bottle head does it justice, but the ribbing chevrons down the sides of the hat.

The third came from amazing_784 and is a baby crazy quilt. amazing_784 contacted me saying there was an unfinished quit and would I like it. Of course I would! And what I love about swapping is that sometimes it makes us finish our unfinished projects. Like amazing_784 finished the quilt and I chose to make swiffer covers as a gift because I had been meaning to make them for myself, but the only way I would make them for myself is if I was already making them for someone else.

such cute baby stuff, hoxierice!  i like that the colors all kind of go together and look very cheerful.

i received two presents in two days!

yesterday, spotnik's package arrived:  a necklace and earring set made of amazonite!  it's exactly my style and colors.  I wore them today and LOVE them!




Then, today I received a fabulous package from Troublet.  First:  three appliqued and embroidered lavender sachets!!  They are so lovely and well-made--right off my wists!  I'm truly impressed with Troublet's emsbroidery skills.  I love lavender and have it secreted all over the house, so these are just perfect.  Next, I pulled out this little guy:  a hedgehog pincushion!!  I'm in the midst of moving, and my pins are already packed, but just imagine him filled with pins!!!  I just love the button eyes and nose.  What a fun package!
