Hello everyone! I haven't posted any of my projects this spring, so I'm doing a semi mass posting here. this isn't everything I've done this spring, but its all the bottoms, so I suppose that counts.

These two are reinvented curtains:

These two are reconstructed little girls christmas dresses: (everyone knows what im talking about when I say that, right?)

This one isn't reconstructed but I'm a little lazy haha- the inside and the elastic were scraps, and the pretty shimmery stuff I actually bought.

This is just a simple reconstructed skirt:

And these are my you-don't-want-a-round-house-kick-to-the-face-while-I'm-wearin-theses-bad-boys shorts:

HaHA! Great recons! Here are three things I love about this post:

1. little girls' christmas dresses ---> bubble skirts = genius!

2. curtains ---> skirt = awesome!

3. napoleon dynamite quote = amazing!

Nice job!

Love that first curtain-skirt! I've been pondering using lace curtains for a pettiskirt myself - do you think it'd be stiff enough to be used as a tulle petticoat under a skirt to add fullness, or would the average lace curtain be too floppy? Either way, yours is pretty. Smiley I need to hunt around for a lace curtain that doesn't look too.... curtainy. :p

WOW I am in love with it ALL!!!!! Fan freaking tastic!

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

Awww! I love that the title of your post makes it seem like you and your sewing machine are friends. I have a Janome too, and now I'm imagining running through fields of flowers with it...er, this got a little strange...I like the skirts!
