Canada day Cupcakes!

I made these for our celebration tomorrow! Don't ask me why I picked up butter cream instead of white frosting at the grocery store. I blame the hubs and kids for distracting me at the time.

Other than the colour issue, I'm really happy with how these turned out. I usually have a hard time doing the swirl. The kids won't care about the colour anyways.

Canada Day is one of my favorite holidays and these cupcakes look delicious!

Those look utterly delicious! Is the red part in the cupcake batter just dyed or is it flavored as well? And don't worry about the Butter cream color- everyone knows butter cream is the best icing flavor ever! (well, almost everyone ^_~) You did a great job piping the icing on and your handwriting with the red icing is awesome, too! So legible on such a small surface!
