I am about to throw these out (I've gone mostly sugar free), but thought I'd post a pic here first. I loved york mints, but I hated how they rattled around in the tin. I even put some tissue inside to stop the rattle, but it didn't work. It made so much noise in my car & my bag that I had to do something, so I took a york chocolate mint patty, ate the patty (yum!), then I made a small pouch out of the wrapper - problem solved. Cool huh? I even lined it w/red fabric to match the red on the wrapper.

Clever! This looks like a perfect craft for problem solving or just on a random day. I don't have the (Crochet) balls to attempt candy wrapper sewing yet. Admiring yours seems fine for now. Wink

Too cute! I have been thinking of doing this with chip bags!

I have been caffeine free for some time, and didn't even realize it till recently!
But it helps that I do not drink coffee.

And my thoughts on going sugar free..... the stuff they use instead of sugar, like Splenda, or Aspartame, are just as bad for you as all the sugar they put in things.

Thanks mrscommons. I've slowly been weaning off of caffeine. I have at least 1 cup of green tea in the morning & maybe green or black tea for lunch - if I'm eating out for lunch, I'll have iced tea. I used to live on diet pepsi until I found out about aspartame (bad stuff - I'm surprised they allow that stuff to be used).

Thanks K3lly. I know, they try to fool you, but those things are worse than white sugar. I use xylitol & I've also used agave nectar - great stuff.

I'd like to see it when you're done.
