I love the color combination. I'm in the same boat with the poor college student thing, so I am starting to make my own clothes. And there's nothing better than wearing something that looks just as good if not better than what the "daddy's girls" wear. haha  Wink

Just a suggestion for the wind security issue ... try sewing a couple of little clear snaps along the  binding and onto the underlap of the skirt.  They will stay in place better than adhesive velcro when you wash the dress ... and it is a really cute dress! Smiley
