I couldn't decide where to put this because it's quilted and stitched, but I hope this might be the most appropriate place for it. It is just very random, very basic stitching though. I made quite a few of these sections while travelling so it was nice to have something to do, but not have to think about too much. Cheesy

I saw this tutorial on you tube by Teesha Moore and fell in love with it. I'm not really a neat person, I like raggedy edges and uneven shapes in my artwork, so it definitely suited me. Plus I have a drawer full of small pieces of fabric and little lengths of embroidery threads that I haven't wanted to throw out, so it was great to use them!

Once I started making panels I just couldn't stop! I was going to make something practical like a journal cover or a bag, but I just kept going. I guess it could be a fancy cushion if I gave it a back. Cheesy I'd like to continue to work on it and add tab tops to hang it from a curtain pole to hang from one side of our patio doors, but I'm not sure my fingers would thank me for that! Cheesy

The bird in the sun is a badge by Matt Sewell, one of his cute 'Birds of the Week'

Two birds obviously not speaking to each other Wink Now I think about it I might add an 'X' to the black bird for his eye.

The 3 blobs are felted balls cut in half. I got a bit texture happy Cheesy

I used lots of fabric and bits and bobs that other craftsters have sent me in the past, so thank you! Kiss

!!! What fun! It so colorful and full of interesting textures and bits and pieces which all work very nicely together. You have such a wonderful eye Smiley I think the only thing that throws the theme off a bit is the skull and crossbones patch. My favorite patch is the doily one ^_^

The colors and textures are absolutely stunning. What a wonderful representation of your creative energy!!

You know those soft paneled baby books - that have fuzzy pages and crinkly pages and pages with mirrors and zippers? This is like an amazingly awesome grown up version of that Smiley.
