I think the technique is called Canadian basket smocking, but I could be wrong. At any rate, you did it flawlessly.

Brittanica- I really have no idea what it's called, but I googled both lattice and canadian basket smocking and got pictures of this technique so I guess it could be called both ^^ Canadian basket sounds better and more accurate though...
