It is sad to see this gallery to draw to a close.  But hopefully we can have another great gallery in the next round!

Thanks everyone for making such a great and Flake-free swap!

Oooh, what book? I'm obsessed with cherry blossoms in designs and all. Cheesy

I'll try to do a scan of one of them and post it here, and get the book info for you

Thanks everyone who commented on the redwork horse.  I used quite a few different stitches but you can't really tell that in photos.  The pattern for the horse came off the internet and I actually wrote down the site so that I could credit it, and of course I lost it.  The bottom half is from a book a friend in Sweden sent me.

I'm all for another round too.  I'm in a mood right now where I'd rather craft in my armchair in the living room with my family than being off at the sewing machine alone so this type swap is perfect.  I'll be watching for the next one.

I have also decided to keep practicing and seeing if my husband can set up a better lighting system for me when I'm working.  I'd like to get those light+magnifier things, but they're a little pricey

I decided to get one of those lights BECAUSE of this swap! My eyes were going crazy. I got a good deal on it--used my JoAnn's coupon and got $100 off! You can also buy a cheaper ott-lite and get the magnifier separately. They sometimes have sales on the website too at really good discounts.

Two more fantastic pieces.  The dragon is so colorful!  I love the red work also reminds me of vintage pieces I so love. This has been a wonderful swap!  Happy Stitching everyone!

Ok, that crazy quilt book is called "The Crazyt Quilt Handbook"  revised, 2nd edition, 2001 by Judith Baker Montano, C & T Publishing.

Here's two trees from it:

and

I don't really remember where I got it from, sorry, but I'm sure Amazon would have it
