Cross Stitching for some reason always terrified me! One day I felt very courageous and just decided to give it a try, after being inspired by all the wonderful post on this site Grin.
So this is my third and biggest project so far. I found a picture on the internet and opened it up in paint and blocked it out myself (hence there isn't any shading, lol). Now on to the hard part, the framing!!

Thanks for looking!

Finally in a frame!

Too funny - and great job!  I'm kinda like you, when I was little I had a very tedious cross stitch project and I've steered clear of it ever since.  Maybe I should give it another go.....

I've got a new website! www.thisbirdsabsurd.com and I'm still on Etsy www.thisbirdsabsurd.etsy.com

It looks so great!  I haven't done any cross stitch for a while now, but this has inspired me to get back into it!

This looks great!  Don't sweat the shading, it often complicates things when a single color can convey the image better.

Thanks guys! There really isn't any reason to be scared, just jump right in, don't even think about it!  Cheesy
I just found some videos online that showed me how, read a lil bit, and found a simple pattern to start off with.
