My grandparents had their silhouettes hung up at thier house all my life.  They got them at Disney World and I always really really liked them.  So, I decided to make some for my sister for part of her wedding shower gift.  I also made my family Smiley

I just got some black scrapbook paper and cut out our silhouettes.  I had a super hard time finding black oval frames so I found these cheap wood ones at Micheals and spray painted them black.  Not quite what I wanted but the best I could find.

Here's my sister's family:

Me and my husband

My babies - Ted, Ginger, Karen and Nate (we also have 4 kittens so I'll make theirs once they get bigger Smiley)

Did you cut out that area around the dog's ears?  Or did you draw on the silhouette to get the same effect?  I've been trying to figure out the best way to portray my four-legged kids, but couldn't figure out how to work their downward floppy Lab ears!!

I just cut it out.  I had them at first without the ears cut out but I thought they were missing something.  I think the ears helped to tell the dogs apart since all their ears look so different.
