That thing is totally awesome! I would lose so much of my time to a dotee like that.

Each round, these things get more and more creative...the dotees everybody makes now don't really resemble the original inspiration for them at all! (Not that there's anything wrong with the more traditional dotees, though. They're cute!)

I am so happy everyone likes them- I was a bit nervous that not  everyone would like operation or that Cavity Sam looked too much like a clown-- Did you know the operation guy had a name? I didn't.

Please feel free to expound on how he is made and if you have more pics, he  deserves an ovation!

unfortunately I did not take pictures of the process I was too excited by the idea to do anything but craft them-

After swiping it from my hubby and son........

lol, I  have to keep taking mine back from family members too

II had to hang him up with my other Dotees, because I know if he stays on my desk I won't get anything crafted! What an amazing idea, Tesa. I'm very much in love with him.

That is probably a good thing mine has not made it to the other dotees yet  I just can't seem to put him down

Oh wow, that is such an awesome idea! And crafts evolve just like everything else, so don't worry if they don't look like the originals!

I'll admit that Cavity Sam is a creepy name. Smiley Mine has come off the wall several times now. Everyone seems to want to play with him. I really sort of want a full-sized (to the board game) one now. That'd be a super-cute I-Spy bag that kids could play in the car. Like a traveling board game... could take turns finding each bit... Not that I have any kids...

 Here's my little dude....

I also want to say this is a really good stress reliever....going through some really hard stuff in life right now and anxiety is through the roof....mushing this in my hands and looking for the great little goodies is really soothing.  I don't know if people remember/know about worry stones and beads?  This is just like it.

teag....your a genius.

I forgot I took pictures of Sam's body parts so here they are

Butterflies in the stomach, Wrenched knee, Wishbone

writer's cramp, funny bone, brain freeze

water on the knee, Charley horse, Spare ribs

broken heart, bread basket, Adams apple

because of the scale of these pieces I was unable to sculpt a full horse and almost omitted it but then decided to  do a horses head for the charley horse- I think it came out pretty good- I also opted to do a water drop instead of the water bucket
