Ive been wanting to make myself a new bag for awhile...and yesterday i just sat down and started cutting and sewing. And this is what came about.
It actually came out better than i had anticipated... Its a faux suede and on the bottom i used a sturdy black fabric (so the suede wouldnt get dirty if i set it down anywhere) i didnt take any pics of the inside but inside is a dark blue silky fabric with one big gathered pocket. It so roomy though and im a sucker for a big purse.
It has side pockets on each side and they are gathered so thing wont fall out as easily I.e my phone.. &....keys.It

Thanks for looking!
Hope you Likey.

Looks really nice. I especially like the details.

Recently 'discovered' sewing machines and now I am addicted. I have been making clothes and bags and I want to try to make poppet sometime soon.

Love it!

What are the silver things you used to fasten the handles on over the rings?

Thank you!

The handles i actually bought and just sewed them on but the chain is removeable... its like a charm bracelet type thing but its long and i just chose to embellish it across the purse.

This is cute - a good size for weekenders. Does anyone see a smiley face? The square rings are the eyes, the button on the bow is the nose & the chain is the smile - it must be just me.
