Dachshunds are such cute animals.  Here are a few I just made.  They are hand sewn and made out of felt.

I started out with a pattern but then I made the face bigger, used a different type of nose, changed the belly insert into a one piece and not as long.  This one uses 5 pattern pieces (that includes the ears and the tail - which are really nothing).  The one I first saw used 11 pieces!  Too much work.

I have two wiener dogs and in my expert opinion...these are GREAT! You really captured the doxie look. Did you use felt? I love their accessories too.

Aww!  I love them!
I should make one for a coworker who loves dachshunds, he'd get a real kick out of one.

You did a great job.  That little red one is my favorite, I think the face looks more natural that way.
