I got this pattern from a book, and I plan to change it up a bit and make different animals. I'll also use different fabrics and add a zippered pocket on the inside. This one is made out of fleece. But I think it's really cute! I also just realized I don't have a photo of just the owl. When I figure out what my 2 year old did with it I'll take a photo ^_^

BOO HOOOOOO

This is my house!

How adorable! I am obsessed with owls. Mind sharing what book you got this pattern out of so that I can run to store and buy it?  Grin

Thanks ladies!! I wish I could take the credit for being this creative but nope. Not this time lol.

Yes no problem i actually found this book at the library too and am going to order it off amazon. If you live in the states it will be MUCH MUCH cheaper to buy off amazon than buy new at the store. You can get these craft books for under $10 including shipping...

The book is called "the perfect handmade bag" by Clare Youngs

there are some really nice ideas in there and I will be making a few more bags out of it!

Runs off to library  Grin

Wow what a cute bag and I love that the owl can be taken out too, and great colours.

This is so cute!! You did a great job on it. I'ma make one with cats though. <3 Our cat had kittens a few weeks ago and we couldn't ever figure out where. We finally found them last week. She had had them in a hole in a cedar tree that's in our front yard. The hole is at least 12-13 feet from the ground. She finally brought them down a few days ago though. Grin But this purse would be perfect for that! Just make tiny kitties instead of owls. <3 hahaha
