Look out, Portland. I'm so indie.

I recently won a yard of fabric, so I got out my copy of "One Yard Wonders" and made the "Simply Beautiful Sundress".
I made the large, because, according to the measurements in the book that's was my size. SO wrong. I ended up having to alter and stitch and bring it down so that the bodice didn't gape everywhere. NOW it fits. If I make this pattern again I'll be making up the small.

I was worried that the length would be too short, it is after all, only made of one yard of fabric. But its not bad, a teesy bit on the short side but not so bad that I feel like my butt is hanging out or something.  Cheesy I think if I was any taller I'd need more that a yard or just wear it as a tunic with leggings.

Thanks for looking!

Very cute I keep looking at this pattern in my book but now I will have to make it. Great job, co cute and not to short for sure.

So many ideas so little time. Will I ever get them all done?

Not to short at ALL...It's wonderful and ...just all kinds of wow that it is only a yard of fabric.
