Im a college student that has zero use for a knitted baby sweater.

BUT my good friend is pregnant and a few weeks ago, I learned she was having a boy.  It was go time.  I cast on for this knitted baby sweater that night and finished it the next day.  I cant get over how cute it is. It's a quick knit that only took one day and I like the fact that the project took less than one skein of yarn.  I'm discovering how much fun it is to make baby things and feel like it could be a dangerous new addiction, ha.

I gave the baby sweater to my friend yesterday and she absolutely loved it.  Might have to make more of these.  Smiley

Adorable!  Great job on the sweater. What brand yarn did you use?

Thanks!  I used Vanna's Choice yarn in Sapphire Blue.  I purposely used a bold color because I didn't want to make another pastel item for babies, ha.  Just something about them in rich colors make 'em look so cute! Smiley

JJGirl, awesome Baby Sophisticate!! I LOVE the color (big fan of jewel colors)!

This sweater is awesome as it fits both genders, is an easy pattern and is super quick!! I also liked the buttons you use...they contrast very nicely with the Sapphire Blue!  Great minds do think alike!  Grin
