Massive Bead Bracelet

I made this bracelet for a friend's birthday.  The beading took forever!!  But I'm pretty happy with the final result:

I was inspired by this bracelet I saw on American Eagle online.  It's on clearance now, if that gives you any idea how long this took me (I took a LONG break from stringing the beads for a while...).



The ends of the bracelet were crocheted, which I can't do, so I did the ol' macrame standby, and I had to increase the number of beaded strings as I wasn't able to get the beads on the strings at full thickness, so I split each in two.  I ended up with 34 strings of beads!! I'm gifting this tomorrow...I hope she likes it!!!

wow, thanks guys!  I love the green/gold color combo idea.  I was actually thinking it would be a long time before I made one of these again, but with a bead spinner, I might actually attempt this again!  Thanks for the link!
