I bought this Ikea bookshelf because the price and size were right, but it needed something...

Then I remembered I have this obsession with Joel Dewberry's "Deer Valley" collection.

So I combined the two and "BAM!"

Suddenly that bookcase is full of awesome!

I used spray adhesive to glue the fabric to the backing before nailing it down to the back of the bookcase. The fabric is wrapped around the back and double sided tape holds the excess down so all the edges are clean and concealed. Very simple, quick and no sewing involved. I am SO in love with my new bookcase.

uhhh, AWESOME! I can see why you were obsessed with that fabric, it's freaking gorgeous! I wish I could do that but my bookcases are so full you'd never even see it! hahaha
