(image for thumbnail)

My daughter is two and half months old. We just bought a house and began decorating. I decorated the nursery in mostly shades of yellow and gray, with a little pink and green thrown in for contrast.

Okay, enough background, on to the details of this project! I rescued an old window from my neighbor's dumpster before my daughter was even born with this project in mind! Smiley

Here's a pic of what the finish was before I did anything:

I would've left it as is, but paint was probably lead and it was going in daughter's room, so I decided to sand the frame and paint it yellow. Then I borrowed my mom's cricut to cut out words and some cute pics in vinyl. I did one word for each of the three panes. Here's the finished product hanging on the nursery wall:

Sorry the pic is a little blurry, it was hard to get a pic without any glare as this is opposite the actual window in the room! Wink

C & C always welcome!

Aww, that's so sweet! I love the colors, and I'm sure she will be inspired by the happy message. So cute!  Smiley

Really cute project!  I like this alot.  And it could be adapted to lots of different rooms just by changing the colors/words.
