Okay, so it's nowhere near perfect and actually way too big for me, but I'm really attatched to it since it's my first sweater and first time knitting in the round (my double-pointed needles for the sleeves were chopsticks!)
I used the directions here:  http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter04/PATTtempting.html
but I made it a lot different... I think when it comes to patterns I'm too creative for my own good.  Aqui esta:

I love what you did with that pattern!! It is so cool that way! I like the idea of the knitty version but I'm sure I'd never wear it! Yours is much cooler! Well done!

How cool is that!! I would wear it all the time. If you think it's too big, you could try taking in the sides. I remember seeing an article  about that once. Ah, here we are: http://www.chicknits.com/ttdownsizing.shtml

Also, I have the same toy accordion as in your avatar. Do you play real accordion? Smiley

Congrats on your first sweater!  That's something to be proud of.  (Btw, I too can't seem to follow a pattern without feeling compelled to change it.)

That is great!! I am so chicken to try a sweater that my first sweater I'm doing is a tank!! I cannot believe you can change a pattern so easily!! (from someone who is perceptually inept!)  Congrats!!
