Okay, I felt like being a real go-getter today so I went and got us a gallery for our art.  Here is the beeeyoootiful painting Poppet sent me.  I think it is early 60's post modern neo classical baroque paint by number.  But I may be wrong.

Here's the one norsgoebel sent me. I wasn't sure where to start with this, so she suggested I start at the beginning. If you take into consideration that I live in Kansas, and our state is in the middle of debating the theory of evolution, you can see why I'm just not sure what to do.  Kiss

oh man, with the sheet hanging in the background, this is giving me nightmares from my drawing & painting I class, drawing random objects and having to laboriously shade everything in, including the sheet backdrop.

Ahhh I see your dilemma...the chicken or the egg?  the big bang or the big guy?  the crawling from the slime or created from the rib?  I didn't mean to shake your moral foundation, I just wanted you to have a little fun!

Here is what I sent to supercraftytx:

And here is what she sent to me! It is a fabric panel, stretched & mounted!
I keep seeing all sorts of craziness...

It's so odd, I may have fallen in love with it.

You guys clearly have much better thrift shops than we have around here.  Ours are sort of the type of place where no one seems to know the difference between donated stuff and garbage and you really don't want to even touch anything, much less take it home  Tongue

What are you guys doing with these - decorating the frames?  Making crafts based on the paintings?
