i'll admit it, i'm playing super catch up on posting on these craftster boards.
finally got my blog up and going again, now back to all you crafty lovelies!
here is one of my many christmas gifts made this year - a t-shirt quilt for my younger cousin
i decided to do uneven blocks fit to the side of the graphic on the shirt to shake things up a little bit
yes, it was tricky.  yes, my match didn't add up.
no, i probably will not do it again... at least not with a whole bunch of planning.

here is the full shot!

a couple more photos over on the blog

Your blog link is borked! http://toothpasteandorangecat.blogspot.com/2012/01/jacobs-t-shirt-quilt.html

But I love it!  How is it working with jersey?  I want to make a tshirt quilt, but I've never made one.  Should I start with a baby quilt or something?

ah!  thanks for letting me know Smiley i think i fixed it!
when i do my t-shirt quilts, i use fusible interfacing on the backsides.
it helps keep the block shape, and makes it SO much easier to work with Smiley

Ooh I love it! So much more interesting to look at with the sashing and the way you did the columns than just a plain grid of t-shirts!
