Thrift Score by Al Hoff.

It's not mainly abot crafts, but there are lots of crafty interpretations of things you can buy at a thrift store.  And clever ideas in general.

A highlight - there was a portrait of an artist who would put his artwork IN thrift stores to see if people buy them.

Unfortunately the book's out of print, but look for it at your local public library.

i think amazon.com has some used copies. it's on my wish list, so it usually always has the note "buy used from $_____" on it.
