I made some tawashis for a swap and had to make myself a set also. They work great and are fun to make. Here is the pattern I used. http://crochetpatternsonly.blogspot.com/2005_05_16_crochetpatternsonly_archive.html

I switched back and forth between the colors. I want to try some different color patterns so I think my mom and mil may end up with some.  Cheesy

Thanks. I'm not good with patterns either. It took me 3 tries to get it. I wasn't crocheting in the back loops every row so it wasn't puffing up right when I finished them off.

Oyhana -  Cheesy That is one reason why I chose those colors. I hate washing dishes.

veggiechef - They are acrylic.

Okay I love those little things.  They would make great Christmas gifts.  Would also get rid of some of the left over yarns.  Thats for the link.  I am in the process of making baby things for new granddaughter ( Serina Leigh) due late Aug.  I saw alot of neat things there.  Wow !! Just thought these would make good baby scrubbies if they were made with cotton.  I have a least 4-6 cones and small skeins.

Yours are so fun!

For those who want to try it, there is a new video to go along with the pattern that makes it really easy to see how to do this.  I think it is explicit enough that it even makes the project great for beginners.
