Thrifted Skirts to Summer Dresses

I've been churning out these dresses for the past week and I really love them. It's a thrifted elastic waist skirt with a tank top/scoop neck combo that I made from jersey, which is my new favorite fabric by far. It just skips over the head and is really comfy. I'm experimenting a bit with length and whether to make them babydoll style or have the skirt hit at the waist.

And after making three of these dresses I saw the same thing (but uglier, I think ;P) at Target!! I had no idea. I like mine haha.

I usually don't like these, but these are very well done - I like the shape of the neckline, and I like the empire waist.  The belt is a nice touch.  Maybe I will make some of these for summer - they would be perfect for the miserable weather we're having.

agreed, all lovely - especially with a belt. my favourite is the last one becasue i like brown & blue
